Cool videos. That second jet did not quite break the sound barrier, but did form a nice cone.

I was reading popular science last month and saw the hopes for a jet that will create a less noisy sonic boom. Could really change transportation if they get it working.

...cloud or condensation plume. I'm looking at a handout from our local university's fluid mechanics department where my brother in law attended. They had demos on fluid mechanics and this was one of the more popular.
