Folks here have been so traumatized by the Cowboys that they have lost the ability to rationally evaluate ideas. Everything is completely knee jerk reactions because it’s Jerry (which I get) but IMO, if you remove the emotion, this is a solid move for the right price and WAY better than we can realistically expect for a 4th-5th round pick. But a 3rd is too much IMO.

He is only 23, for pick 174 I would pull the trigger. He is a good back, would want to know they checked out the knee though and would be willing to give him a extension.

Massive upgrade over what's on the roster, and an extension wouldn't kill the cap. Immediately makes the offense better. Depends on compensation, but if Jeanty isn't there at 12, it makes alot of sense. A 3rd sounds painful, but a 5th and maybe a 6th? I like it.

For a 6th, bad knee and all, that's an easy yes.

He's rb1 but he's nothing special. You can get nothing special in this draft. Jets are making him join a rb committee for a reason.

If he is healthy, he is a legit RB1 in this league. We dont have a 4th this year, so unless we trade down with.... say Houston, who is rumored to be willing to deal their 1st and third this year and 2nd next year, you could turn our 1 into Hall and a later 1 and next years two. Thats a win IMO, and keeps you from using a pick on an RB this year.

The jets suck... tats why. They have n absolute stud at WR and they seem to not use him right either.

Don't like this idea at all because Hall is a ACL guy and his contract will be up soon. Go get a rookie RB, don't outsmart yourself. Get Braelon Allen with a 5th rounder instead.
