Chris Pika, of NewOrleansSaints.com, reports New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees will get more playing time in the team's upcoming preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys Monday, Aug. 21, than he did in the team's last preseason game.

Good, I think most here feel pretty good about the talent in our secondary and the reserves there. The exception ofcourse is the question mark at free safety so having Brees play an extended time against us will assist us in assessing that position. Hopefully will see a deep ball or two thrown so we can get a look at how much davis has learned and what Watkins can do.

An extended look by Brees probably means they keep their starting o-line in so we can measure pass rush pressure too as well as how are LBs do in controlling the running lanes against Bush, who has already flashed some talent with the Aints.

Brees is a big Cowboy fan. He would have been a nice addition.
I dont wish harm on the guy, but for some reason i really wanna see Roy smack the crap out of Bush.

Its natural to want to see the Golden Chosen One to get racked up. I remember when Elway first came into the league I wanted to see him get waxed real well.

I'd like to see us keep our starting "D" out there as long as Brees is out there, and hopefully that's the entire 1st half. I also want to see Carpenter/Watkins get out there on the 1st team at some point.
