Was it just me, or did Brett look like a 50 year old in the cold? he just couldn't deal with it. He was all wrapped up and sticking gauze under his nose. Eli didn't even have a hat under his helmet. That's two cold weather games this year I've seen Brett wilt in. it was definitely brutallly cold but......Hang it up time Brett.

And I guess the Giants aren't all that bad a team. Gotta give it up to them, a wildcard team that wins three straight tough road games after losing one of their best offensive players, deserves to go were they're going.

i hope they beat NE.

On a couple of those throws Favre reverted back to his gunslinger mentality.

I remember on one deep pass the WR was triple covered, and he threw it up for grabs anyway. Luckily the ball wasn't intercepted.

Favre is unpredictable, both with positive and negative plays . . . .

You got to blame the offensive coordinator also. The Giants were rushing 4 and dropping men back in coverage. The Packers only used Grant to spot the passing game, despite the fact that Grant has been running like a monster as of late. If they had decided to control the clock with the run game in the second half they would have won.

You could tell that the Packers even went away from their normal passing attack. They tried to take big throws downfield in this crappy cold weather, instead of going for their quick hits.

It wasn't gauze, it was heat packs. He uses them alot during games to keep his hands warm. I'm sure Eli had them in his fanny pack, too.

So, now Eli is a better QB than Brett because he "braves" out the cold better?

How about Coughlin? Is he the better coach for having his face look like frostbitten hamburger by halftime instead of wearing protective gear like McCarthy?

Or Ryan Grant just SUCKS(typical Notre Dame RB, sound familiar?).

He just happened to have a few good games against some ****** run D's(i.e. Seattle, St. Louis, Oakland, Detroit, etc).

Yup.

That is the argument that the Favre lovers make all the time for his lack of success in the big games and playoffs "he didnt have a running game" - well how could we know that.... BECAUSE he always started slinging... he didnt want to run. He would rather lose the big game slinging it than be patient and mix it up with the run.

Overrated.
A great thrower of the football.
A horrible QB/decision-maker.
