This is kind of funny for the guys over at ESPN, who were saying Favre should just hang it up he's too old, he has too much drama with the retirements, his arm will wear down in December, etc. These are the same guys who said the Cowboys can't win in December and have not won a playoff game in 13 years. They bagged on Favre just like the Cowboys. Favre shut them up this year with his best season ever at 40 years old and the Cowboys shut them up with their playoff win last night. So what gives?

All of a sudden ESPN says we are the best team in football? Pretty funny how they change their tune. Anyway I 'm a Dallas Cowboys fan to the bone and I've always been a big Favre fan. I enjoy watching him play the game. I was hoping it would not come to this. Sorry Brett, we have to take you out. I hope we can.

Favre will create problems for us. Brett Favre has a lot to prove... still. In my opinion when he is protecting the ball he is the best in the game (at 40 years old.) With Stats being somewhat equal , Brett still makes throws I don't see Brady, Manning, Brees or Romo making(they have some traits that Brett doesn't as well). I'm sorry but I played ball for 20 years and its the truth, I know a lot of people hate him but put that a side. He's a HOF quarterback having his best season ever and looking forward to a championship showdown with GB/Rodgers. He is not MCnabb. To compliment him A.Peterson is pretty good. They have struggled with the run game recently but they can run the ball while Philly was one dimensional. ESPN is saying we present major matchup problems for Minnesota, which I agree but beware of the FAVRE factor and what is on the line for this man. After watching the last 4 weeks I believe we have the better team but Favre in this position scares me. He is good. He is great. He is one of the best to ever play this game and he would like nothing more then to ride off into the sunset a SB winner. I think we will prevail but not as easy as we did with the Eagles.

That giANTS game didnt prove anything and that secondary is ripe for the picking.

Farve will throw 3 INT's next week. :D

If they can't run the ball well, the Vikes have no chance against us. Teams that have put pressure on Farve have shut him and that offense down.

And if the game comes down to Farve to win next week.....It's ova!!!! :eek:hboy:

We just have to pressure him and continue to execute. Then we'll be fine. I will say though, the Vikes will have more success against us than Philly.

Not scared, I respect them and Farve, but I believe in my team so much ( just gotta cut the penalties) I'm not scared of any team. That's the way our boys are feeling right now and that's the way we should be feeling right now.

If we turn Favre into his old gunslinger self, he'll self destruct and hand the game over to us.

Get it done !!!

I believe Favre is 2-9 against Dallas ( both wins in GB )

Favres 2 wins were against Cowboys teams with losing records. ( 6-10 in 97 & 6-10 in 04 )

Favre is 0-3 against Dallas in the Playoffs.

Farve is 0-1 against Tony Romo.

The only team i feel that can challenge Dallas is GB.

One would be foolish to overlook the Saints IMO.

It would be foolish to overlook any play off team , IMO . They have been in playoff for a reason. It is a little bit different than eagles, with them we had familiarity and something prove.

Having said that, we have come across a major hurdle and nothing to lose . Let the boys go out there and play their best and have fun. :)

To hell with Far-va-ra, Green Bay, NO...whoever! The only team who can beat Dallas this postseason is DALLAS! Confidence is high, my friends! Our defense is stingy and our offense is efficient (w/ Romo leading the way)! My belief in this team has been increasing week by week!

Should be a great game,,, their OL is suspect BUT Farve is a lot better at dinking and dunking than McNabb,,, a lot more accurate too.

Very true, but you're forgetting one thing. McNabb is a beast of a QB, he's one of the hardest to sack. He's bigger, faster and more athletic than Farve. Advantage us, he'll get swallowed by our front 7. Did you see how many missed sacks we had against McNabb? That won't happen with old man Farve.

The Saints?!

First, they need to win next week. Then i'll worry about them. They haven't shown anybody within the last 4 weeks why any team should worry about them.

Yeah, and Minny is unchartered territory.
