Interesting. I was hoping someone behind us wanted him and would give up something to get him but I never thought about taking him.

Romo's window seems to be about 2 years. Our second could be a good place to take a flier on a talented QB if they favor future over present at that point. If this is true I could see some interest in Grayson as well

Hundley was only sacked 123 times in college. No awareness or pocket presence. That can't be tought.

hmmm, not sold on any QB in the draft to be honest...anyone sitting behind Tony at this point could do so for their entire rookie contract....too early to draft a sitting QB IMO...I think our OL will prolong Tony's time in the league by a little bit

Did you watch any UCLA games? The OL cant block for anything. And their offense was centered around bubble screens. UCLA has a horrible offensive philosophy since Jim Mora took over.

Hundley's got some issues but I like his physical skill set and he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Hopefully, we will never be in a position to select a top tier quarterback in the draft so I'd be okay with this if the scouting department thinks the staff can take his talent and develop him into a starting caliber QB.

What round for Hundley? 2nd or 3rd and I would be against it. 4th or 5th I'd be ok with letting him sit for a few years behind Romo.

When it comes to drafting a QB prospect for the future, it all depends if the team thinks that guy will be better than Dustin Vaughan.

I think some here are underestimating Hundley's potential

Fwiw, I hope some do t think they mean interested I the 1st round.
This is 2nd round or later.
Honestly not sure I'd even want to burn a 2nd though.
QB class will be better next year.

Do you think he has good pocket presence and awareness?

No, but neither did Romo when he didnt have anybody to block for him. right?

No, you're dead wrong. Romo just learned to spin to avoid the rush this year using newly acquired instinct once we got Tyron, Freddo and Zack? The answer is no. That's instinct and awareness he's always had since he's been in Dallas. That is part of what Parcells referred to as the moxy Romo has.

Parcells also said you have to keep him on a short leash. ruff ruff. Romo;s turnovers are down because of one reason, they took the ball out of his hand and gave it to a RB.
