Yeah...that starting lineup doesn't put fear in any one's heart in our division. Terrence Steele is a turnstyle vs top DEs. Tyler Guyton is on the bust bubble. Jake Ferguson...had hopes for him but he's going to be questionable coming back from ACL. Javonte Williams...is 2021/22 Ezekiel Elliott..if that. And Dak...is Dak...with a chronically bad wheel.

Pardon the leaning into the cheesy phrase that Stephen Jones coined, but this really does feel like being selectively aggressive. If we are going into things with an open mind, we should be, then it is difficult to not feel extremely pleased with what the team has done over the last few months.

*Now, it goes without saying that the Cowboys could still look to add to the wide receiver spot. That is the lone corner of the room that they have not dusted and cleaned to this point.

But it makes perfect sense that the Cowboys will be more talented on the field in 2025 than they were a year ago (not exactly a difficult thing) and likely beyond as well.

Last season saw Cooper play for Cleveland and Buffalo, totalling 44 receptions for 547 yards and four touchdowns. All of those are career low stats and you know one of the league’s best guys is looking for a bounceback.

As an ex-Cowboys player, himself, Baldy is partial to the Cowboys and the Eagles, oddly enough. He's well familiar with both of them. I'm also hoping for the four players mentioned to find success with this group of rookies. I expect them to be very helpful to this version of the team. That'd be outstanding.
