Former NFL coach Brian Billick is out at Fox Sports according to Jason McIntyre of TheBigLead.com. The network has reportedly decided not to renew Bilick's contract.

Billick has served as a color commentator for Fox Sunday NFL games for the past six seasons and as recently as the 2013 season was considered one of the network's rising stars, being assigned an NFC playoff game. He and his on-air partner Thom Brennaman were replaced for the playoffs in 2014, however, by the up-and-coming duo of Kevin Burkhardt and former NFL safety John Lynch. “We simply decided to move in a different direction. We appreciate Brian’s contributions over the years to the NFL on FOX and wish him the best,” FOX spokesman Dan Bell said.

Of course Billick's greatest claim to fame was as the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens from 1999-2007, where he won a Super Bowl ring. The 60-year-old Billick also works as an analyst for the NFL Network.

I kind of liked Billick as an analyst.
