I like Price as the backup 1tech more than the other options. I liked Datone Jones in that role but he was not an option anytime soon.

Surprised its not a 5th CB. I guess they figure they can bring Olumba back on short notice and Woods can handle slot CB again if necessary.

They just picked up Caraun Reid off waiver a couple weeks ago. He had a great preseason game against 3rd teamers. But Ross had been here the whole offseason.

Caraun Reid definitely flashed in the last two pre-season games after being a late addition to the roster, and Jason Garrett singled him out for praise in the post-game presser in Houston.

But it's really tough to make a big enough impression to stick when given such a short window.

The team knows Daniel Ross.

I hope they told Reid to stay in the area and that a spot might open up soon for him.

Not surprised at all. You can do this pretty easily with vets who don't wanna pack up and leave. We've effectively done a 55 man roster trick.
