would anyone be up for trying to sign him when he hits the FA market in a year or two?

I'd rather we just draft a guy

say Northern Illinois DE Larry English

we should have drafted Robison, he would definitely help us with out pass rush.

true that

have you looked up English though? he's a player, could be another James Harrison, last 2 years he's been top 10 in the nation in sacks, having kind of a down year this year, but that probably has to do w/ the fact that Os are keying on him

Robison was drafted one pick ahead of us in the 2007 draft. We ended up picking Stanback. I wish Minnesota wouldnt have picked Robison, I think we may have.

Forgive my ignorance, but who is James Harrison

Pittsburgh OLB, came out of Kent State, took him a few years to break out, last year was his breakout season, he's beastly again this year, he's 6'2" 255 I believe

ok i know woodley and farrior....farrior was all over the Commanders on Monday.

Ol' Robison just got himself a sack today. I liked him coming out of Texas, but haven't heard much of him since then. He's listed as a 3rd string DE, but every time I've watched Minnesota play this year, he's all over the place.

My guess is that he's a better player than our current depth. He's certainly got all of the athleticism you'd want in a player his size.

if not for Jared Allen, he would be starting. Of course, you can understand why he is the backup....Allen is a complete monster.
