Brian Schottenheimer has no concerns that tonight's loss will deflate the team

5 games still remain for the other 30 teams. That's a lot of ball. Relax.

So why didn't you adjust to that and tell Sorensen to just have Aubrey kick the ball out of the end zone? Giving them the 35 would have been better than their average starting field position of mid field.
I've been saying this all year. Just kick it through the damn end zone and be done with it.

Playing devil's advocate.

#1 Dallas is not winning out
#2 Eagles are not losing 3/5 to end the season
#3 There are 5 teams ahead of Dallas fighting for 3 playoff spots; 3 of those teams most likely will end with 11 wins.
(Detroit 8 Wins, GB 8 Wins, Seattle 9 Wins, Carolina 7 Wins, SF 9 Wins)

Carolina, if they crap the bed, lose just 2 more, and we win 3 or 4....then at worst, we get a playoff spot. I know they beat the Rams but let's see.

Carolina is only getting in as a division winner. There are not enough games for Dallas to get in as a wild card; losing to Arizona at home made that a certainty.

Yea disappointed, but a month ago EVERYBODY said they need 2 of these 3 to have a chance. And that's before we say PHI fold and maybe start crumpling.

Well, they won 2 of the 3. There will be a LOT of time to be miserable in the long off season. For now, let's see how it plays out.

This coming from a long time fan starting from the 80s. This gutless team can't win on the road like the 90's teams could. I knew they'd lose. Unfortunately for you, you'll never see a super bowl team. Jerry needs to be 6 feet under until this can happen. Jimmy Johnson won those super bowls, not Jerry. Glad I've seen 3 super bowl wins.
thank you pops

If the bucs for example, drop 2 games , and at worse, we finish with a record of 9-7-1, we might get in . If the panthers crap the bed, lose 2 out of the next few games, which is highly likely, that puts them at 9-8. If we are 9-7-1, wouldn't we get in based on the tie?
