Brian Schottenheimer on Cowboys QB Dak Prescott

I thank what? What are you even talking about?
Maybe I can help. You argued that Garrett didn't get fired. While technically that is true, he clearly wasn't wanted here any longer and the choice to let him walk rather than offer another contract means that he was essentially fired. Yet another classic case of the tmc deflection and 'rabbit holing' strategy you have become infamous for.

If that clears things up maybe we can move on to your ridiculous claim that the 07 Giants were a "bad" team. Let me know if your ready to move on to that or if you still need some help understanding the Garrett topic.

You're welcome.

I mean the thing is I’m fine with not getting the great coaching prospects. The coaches that work prior don’t see coming. No one was knocking down to hire Peterson or Siranni or Tom Coughlin. So I’m fine with passing on a guy like Ben Johnson.

The issue with Schottenheimer is he essentially got a raise as if he did something right or well.
Schotty came somewhat cheap, as far as head coaches are normally compensated. That's about all most coaches can expect from a FO such as the Cowboys. We'll be left to hope for the best, although, the assistants that came along with Schotty's signing were considered very good hires. The team we fielded last year was pretty bad, after all is said and done.

Perhaps the help Schotty gets from his assistants might help him to go farther than he might have gone, otherwise. Obviously, we'll simply be hoping that that's the case. I'm going to be keeping my expectations at arm's length. There will just be far too many personnel changes to expect miracles. I will be expecting at least as many losses as wins in year one of this new regime. Baby steps.

You really want TMC to take you further down that rabbit hole, because he/she will, for sure. 24/7/365 - no job, just gaslight rabbit hole nonsense.

Garrett wasn’t fired he wasn’t rehired after 10 damn years how much longer did you think he deserved to be on the job….and the statement made was Dak got him fired. Not the 10 years of incompetence. Vtwin, the true gaslighter…..

Where did I say that Giants team was bad? All I was saying was that 2007 Cowboys team shouldn’t have lost to that Giants team. They choked.

You called it!

You are right. I should’ve said an average team they weren’t bad. Cowboys should’ve beat them.
Average teams don't win three straight road playoff games and top it off by holding a historic offense and overall juggernaut down to win the SB.

If you're interested you should read Strahan's take on that season. Particularly the toxic dynamic Coughlin's authoritarian style brought to the locker room. They were a very good team not playing to it's potential until a 'come to Jesus' meeting between Strahan and Coughlin where Strahan convinced Coughlin that he better lighten his approach or completely lose the team.

The Cowboys could have beat them had they not shot themselves in the foot multiple times but I stop short of "should" have beat them. The talent on the "more talented" Cowboys dropped the ball in the playoffs. Literally and metaphorically. Not to mention some key talent was hobbled or not even on the field.

Excuses. Cowboys choked away that game. Even in the game the Giants played the Cowboys they didn’t play great. They had a solid game against a 13 win team that choked.

So you believe last year the Cowboys didn’t choke against the Packers as well? Or you as that an actual choke job.

Schotty's already a dead man walking and Dak is the one who's going to flip the switch to fry yet another sacrificial HC in the Dallas HC electric chair

Emphasis on 'Cowboys' or team. I harp on it all the time but the literally meltdown of the defense in the final 47 seconds of the first half was atrocious. It proved to be more of the catalyst for the final score for both teams more than anything else.

This is why it is impossible to take you seriously.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Exactly. It seems to be forgotten that this "talented" Cowboys team was lining up Jacques Reeves at cornerback. I'm not sure if a scrub getting beat for a TD qualifies as a "choke", but it certainly is not conducive to winning.

So the take is Dak got Garrett fired? It wasn’t the 10 years of incompetence? Or he got Mike fired when he hadn’t played since what week 6?

If you aren’t mature enough to handle someone disagreeing with you that’s a you problem not me.
Here you go again with the gaslighting and deflecting. Don't respond to the facts presented which counter your emotionally based claims. Instead, ad hominem the opposition with another emotionally based and false accusation.

Imagine a middle aged man acting like this. smh

This is the weird part of your takes. I made a post directed at someone yesterday saying that exact line. It’s giving stalker. You only reply to my posts and none of the other millions on this site. It’s weird. And then you will write it off as gaslighting while misusing the term consistently. It’s just weird. But that truly shows your messy character lol. You only exist to disagree with anything I say and if you agree with something I say you just respond. 100 percent negativity. So at this point I’m to assume I hurt you someway. Not sure how or why…..but you were hurt by me. And I would apologize for it but you would once against incorrectly accuse me of “gaslighting” and taking you down a rabbit hole….so I don’t know how to comfort you here….

To give you your much needed closure how do you suggest I go about this?
