Brian Schottenheimer: The effort is right. The fight is right. Mistakes are killing us

No way he actually thinks this

The mistake was hiring Shoddy as coach

[RustyBourneHorse]

Just the fact he's saying this when we have gotten destroyed in back to back weeks because our offense has clearly given up says what's needed. He needs to go. I don't know who he's trying to fool.

This simply shows that he doesn't get it and should be fired.

And this is coming from one of his rare supporters.

[JohnnyTheFox]

At this point it's like a bad dream that keeps repeating itself over and over

He needs to be fired. We're at Wade getting fired stage right now. Just appoint someone interim and start a fire sale for draft picks. Anyone that can be moved for picks should be traded.

Goodbye goober!

We have one in Pettine. I would make him the interim and go from there. Pettine isn't a bad HC, and he did okay with Cleveland.... considering that his QB was Manziel.

Execution sounds pretty good....

[Gremell12]

“Its not the effort, its the execution” so in other words, the scheme is severely flawed.

[kskboys]

No, Schotty, nothing is right.

[Tabascocat]

He has no idea what he is doing. If he was smart, give up play calling and concentrate on saving your job.

[Joey9775]

This is absolutely insane. Not even Garrett was this bad.

Yes, you my friend get a gold star. The jones boys, they had no idea though.

Does anyone on this staff get it?

[AKATheRake]

Perfect guy for the job.

Doesn't have the pedigree, the organization is a country club and our players are paid to be celebrities.

No real coaches with a winning history would work with him.

Even he looks miserable on the sideline. Lame duck having to tote the company line.

I never even wanted the guy to be our OC let alone the HC. I doubt anyone else wanted him at either position as well.

Heck of a snake oil salesmen like his boss.
