Brian Stewart To Return as Def. Coordinator

Buffalo's ST coach was Bruce DeHaven, not Read.

Yeah I got him confused with DeHaven, who actually was the coach during the Music City Miracle.

Still he stood up for another ST coach that had performed terribly which led to the canning.

This team's got enough problems on offense and ST. The defense has been and should be pretty stable. What possible point is there in letting go the HC's hand-picked coach if the HC wants him to stay?

Phillips said that offensive coordinator Jason Garrett and defensive coordinator Brian Stewart would return, assuming Garrett didn't get a head coaching gig. He didn't comment specifically on any other assistants.

You have got to be kidding me, when guys would make a big play and run off the field - he would be jumping and screaming and people would run right by his high fives. No one takes him seriously, and I don't think many fans do either.

I thought Brian Stewart and Bruce Read would be offered up as sacrificial lambs but it seems like there will be absolutely no consequences for one of the most catostrophic seasons in Cowboys History.

However Terence Newman stated that there is no accountability among the Coaching Staff so this shouldn't be a big suprise.

Unreal that these two dopes are allowed to continue coaching -- two of the worst coaches in all of football. Read has never had a decent special teams squad, for any team he has been on... And Stewart watched while Wade had a good defense in San Diego, not sure how that qualified him to be our DC. He has proven that he sucks as bad as any DC in NFL history....Wade had to take over duties at mid season, and that still wasn't enough. Another coach hired by Wade was the WR coach Ray Sherman, who could not get decent routes out of pro bowl caliber WR's. So he needs to go as well. :bang2::bang2::bang2:
