I feel bad for Westbrook. He has never come off as a jerk. Just a very, very good player that has been injury prone. I wish him the best.

I'll be honest, there is one player that I really wouldn't care if he got hurt. I don't want to say I'd be happy, but I "wouldn't mind" per se.

Brandon Jacobs.

Just a complete jerk who is totally classless.
I actually have a Giants fan friend that thinks Phillip Rivers is a bigger jerk than Jacobs. I say Jacobs hands down.

Yeah, I would NEVER lower myself to Philly fan's standards: bunch of pond scum that they are: too bad about Westbrook he was a helluva player and competitor but all good things must end. We found that out with Irvin too, sometimes it's sudden and shocking but that's the nature of the game. Hopefully B.West can come back next season concussion free.

Very sad to hear this.

He's a great player, and it's very scary to have to deal with concussions after the fact. One of my best friends had to drop out of football his senior year of high school because the had one too many.

I just hope he's okay and doesn't have any type of permanent damage to his brain that might affect him for the rest of his life.

If Westbrook is smart, he'll call it quits.

I remember hearing an interview with him about a week ago and he didn't seem too sure if going back on the field was the right thing to do and he seemed concerned about his future.

I'd hate to see anyone have to go out like this, but better safe than sorry.
