Who do you like as our #2 WR? I feel like Williams is merely okay as our #2 guy, and I really liked what I saw from Butler last season. I love the thought of his speed out there with Dez, Witten, Beasley and Ezekiel. Droool.

I'm with you. I liked what I saw from Butler also. If he can stay healthy, I think we might see a lot more of him next season

Butler will definitely push TWill... maybe push him to the bench eventually.

I think the situation was unfortunate for Williams last year. He was forced into the No. 1 role because of Dez's injury and wasn't targeted much by Weeden. He seemed to press later in the season when the QBs finally started targeting him.

I think returning to his No. 2 role will bring out the best in him. However, I would like for Butler to beat him out for the spot because he adds more of a speed element to the offense. I think the hopes for Butler, though, might be more grass is greener than realistic.

I'm really big on Butler. I liked what he did last year. I think he will have a bigger role, but I don't see him pushing twill for the #2

Butler is my breakout player for us next year. He can take the top off defenses, especially with Dez and Zeke drawing so much attention. Romo can turn him into Laurent Robinson. Just needs to stay healthy.

I think Williams and Butler will be having some heavy competition in TC to see who takes over the #2 WR role. Williams has been altogether too inconsistent to have the #2 spot simply given to him without a challenge to be expected from Butler. After all, healthy competition is what training camp is all about. It should be an interesting, as well as a healthy circumstance. May the best man win.

Butler hasn't shown enough to be #3 wr, much less #2. He just needs to stay healthy and continue to work hard. Hope.

Disappearing for half the season two years in a row is less than okay.

One has actually been a #2 in this league with minor success. The one was one of the main reasons we won a playoff game and jump started our offense in the second. The other has 600 yards in 3 years in this league.

Williams is our #2 until someone else steps up.

Butler showed a lot in last year's Bills game. Made contested catches for first downs, showed a large catch radius, took the top off the Bills defense, lined up at every WR position, and showed nice YAC ability. He did things that T-Will simply can't. He would've had a monster game if he had an NFL QB throwing to him.

That's why I'm salivating at the thought of Romo throwing to him.

Terrence Williams is a clutch player that makes plays in big games.

With that said the guy is just not consistent and disappears.

To be fair to him though he plays in the worst offensive scheme in the NFL.

The steelers have Antonio Brown (1834 yds) Martavius Bryant (765 yds) Markus Wheaton (769 yds)
The cardinals have Larry Fitz (1215 yds) John Brown (1003 yds) Michael Floyd (849)

We have Dez, T will, and Beasley. Now in Twills defense, he did put up 849 yds playing with subpar qbs and did carry us in the 2014 playoffs where Dez performed very poorly ( Detroit game 48 yds 1 fumble, Greenbay game 38 yds)

But I believe that the 2nd-4th receiver positions can be upgraded, but I'd prefer our scheme e upgraded first.
