Brice in NFL network

Butler is earning more reps. I actually don't like the guy, but that's just his personality. I don't trust him with the game on the line, either, but he is a good athlete and he and Dak work well together. I'd his snaps in the next few weeks and see what happens.

Remember this coaching staff doesn’t do a good job of recognizing when players should start over others. Miles Austin was 4th on the depth chart the year he broke out thanks to injuries to Sam Hurd and Roy Williams. Same with Dak being third on the depth chart last year.

So if Brice should be starting, he won’t unless it’s due to injury.

Exactly. The guy is making big plays. We should try to find out if he can handle more. But nah. He might not be able to handle it.

No wonder we've been stuck in neutral for so long.

T. Will just got resigned to a multi-year deal. B. Butler is on a one year deal. Contract will trump performance like it usually does around here.

They also asked about the Giants starting 0-5 and he said that "their offensive line is not protecting Eli like they should and they have a great defense that they spent a lot of money on, unlike the Cowboys".

Ouch, calling out the front office. That might be a step too far.

Did he really say that?

That's awesome, Brice just called out T. Williams turnover as the reason they lost.

I love this guy. He wants his job.

Butler has every right to do it since he hasn't dropped any big passes this season. Oh, wait ...

You guys going to keep loving Butler until he does that crucial long ball drop then start hating again. He's just on a high right now.

Playing Brice Butler more is only going to help him make more big plays. When he is in the game now, people are already started to shade over the top of him because he's our only "take the top off" receiver. If we use him more, move him around and give him better route combinations, he could really make a very good number 2 guy. He needs to work on his consistency, but there really seems to be something there between him and Dak.

I'm not expecting him to be perfect. I just hope he's a better overall WR.
