What's got into Norv?

HONOLULU -- Should we expect to see a tougher, hard-line approach to coaching by the Chargers' Norv Turner next season?
Perhaps, if his first Pro Bowl practice with the AFC team this week is any indication.
Turner kept his team on the practice field at Kapolei High School for nearly 75 minutes Tuesday -- or about 30 minutes longer than expected.
OK, so the weather was nice, if a bit overcast and breezy. The kids watching in the stands were a good touch, giving the Pro Bowlers a chance to play to the crowd. And it wasn't like Turner was making the players work up much of a sweat. John Clayton said he thought there were four players who were sweating. I put the over/under at one.
Still, maybe Turner looked at the two disciplinarian head coaches who reached Super Bowl XLII and decided that's how he'll roll next season.
(Yes, we're just kidding. Turner's not going to be anything but a nice guy, a player's coach. Can't change those stripes now -- although we might have to reconsider that last part given Giants coach Tom Coughlin's success with his more relaxed approach.)
As for the NFC? Packers coach Mike McCarthy held an orderly 45-minute practice.
