He played great last night. And I think with him coming into his own, Scandrick holding down the nickle and Spencer getting better as the season goes along, this defense can be everything we want it to be.

The physical talent is obvious. He can run and shadow almost anybody - and he's able to make plays on the ball. My only concern with him was he seemed to be not as sharp mentally as he needed to be.

i agree that if there's anything he struggles with is sometimes mentally. i think that will get better with more and more game experience.

but he's definitely getting better and making some big plays for us.

Jenkins has one thing going for him, clearly, that Newman just never seems to have had. An ability to find and play the ball. Newman, I love the guy, he can cover great but he just often can't seem to find the ball and play it.

Now I'm not talking about the pass to Marshall as the reason I say that about Newman. Anyone who is crediting Marshall with a great play without pointing out the fact that he only got himself into position to make a play like that by mugging Newman to start with isn't telling the whole story of the play. It's a miracle Newman even got as close as he did in the play after the way Marshall was allowed to grab him and throw him around like a rag doll.

Now if the coaches will let some of the other physical freaks (CuJo, Butler, Williams) have a few snaps a game, maybe we can find a few more bright spots in what I expect to be a tumultuous season.

I'm encouraged with Jenkins' play the past couple of weeks. Certainly has helped solidfy our defense.

Someone remind the idiot to go make a tackle instead of playing referee.

Like i said, mentally he's not always there...

I think he played well, just needs to stay in the game mentally. I think he locked down that corner spot.

I admit I came into the season thinking Scandrick deserved the spot, but Jenkins is changing my mind every week.

I'm encouraged with the way he plays the ball. He does needs to play smarter as well.

oh shut up, you big baby

everyone makes mistakes, no one is perfect

hes playing well, and makes a few mistakes every now n then, now if you rather have henry, or rather see him play just kick back and watch re runs from last year, you will love it

i rather it be a mental issue than physical.....

Henry, had the smarts, but lacked in the physical gifts, something you cant teach

I'll say this he made two very impressive plays yesterday. The pass break up was sick. And he's done tstick his nosehat a couple times. And that 4th and inches assist showed he's willing to stick in his nose in to make tackles. Maybe someday people will forgive him for that ole last yr.

He is def one of the Cowboys I always look forward to watching on Sundays. He, Brooking, Ratliff, Ware, Witten, etc.

Best (and most consistent) corner on the team this year so far.

Jenkins is one of the few guys on the team with swagger

I love how he's talking trash all the way back from after an incompletion to his side, till he lines up against the corner again
