Not sure many of you care. But I for one miss those two-striped socks we used to wear. Heck they even might bring us some luck.

Anywho, it's a blast from the past if anything!

Been saying this for years. And stop it with the freaking leggings look., where it's ankle to knee blue. It looks like garbage. Let's also bring back the sewn-on numerals, the bluish, non-metallic pants, and the royal blue roadies.

Done!

Now...can we make this a Romo bashing thread?!

love the idea bring back those socks! Jerry sucks! I mean Jerry socks

I think we're getting a whole new alternate uniform this year.

Does anyone remember when they did the switch to different shades of blue? It really is a crappy look.

There was a very detailed post on this a few months back, but basically we switched to dark navy on the away's in 1981, and white lettering on the away's in 1996. Home pants changed to their greenish blueish gray nonsense in late 80s, early 90s. Although it does just seem to get worse every year.

personally my least favorite aspect of the current white jersey is the black piping on the sleeve stripes. Why black? :bang2:

I like Seattle's attitude when it comes to uniforms. They basically stomp on the traditional NFL look without going over the top.

We have the most chameleon pants in the league. Sometimes they look obviously green and then at other times silver. It just depends on the lighting.

That last image should be our alternate for any team that wears white at home and for one game on Thanksgiving. Our whites should be these:

You knows it's going to be a long offseason when the conference championships are coming up and people are talking about socks. :laugh1:

I couldn't care less what color socks they wear, it's the quality of the play on the field that concerns me.

I have a laundry list of uniform changes I'd like to see and socks are part of it. I also believe it'd be sick to add the little end detail on the numbers as the old 70s jerseys had. As for the "green" pants, it only makes sense because our pants are traditionally bluesih gray, add to that the glossy look almost every NFL team has gone with and it's bound to look the way it does.
