He's never played an entire season in 9 years and Wilson has more production.

Seems to be a better running back then receiver, but is elusive and a good kick returner.

C-Patt would be expected to play WR if Amari walks, and that's not his game. He has never been good as a pure WR.

This year in Atlanta, he carried the ball 153 times (I was shocked to see it was that high) and caught 52 passes. On the whole, it worked out to 1166 scrimmage yards and 11 touchdowns on a nearly identical run/pass split. That illustrates who he really is... he's kind of a half-WR, half-RB space player who can be just as productive as a full time starter playing either if he's schemed touches. For comparison, his yardage total was higher than CeeDee Lamb's last season.

Arthur Smith has been the first guy to really tap into his talents at 30 years old, and for Patterson's sake, I hope he stays with the Falcons. It's been a long journeyman road for him and there's been lots of people shouting "bust"... now he's got a chance to show what he's made of.

Cowboys run the ball, maybe, 18 times a game between Zeke n Pollard. Amari gets targeted a low number of passes for a WR1. Why would Patterson come to Dallas to be underutilized? This staff doesn't even know how to use Pollard, can you imagine the waste of money signing Patterson would be?
