Great game yesterday-- can't wait for T-Day!

If we beat Carolina-- we are poised to run the table. Some people are wringing their hands about playing the Panthers b/c they're undefeated-- but this is EXACTLY the kind of statement game we need in order to build some momentum and get our swagger back. I think we beat the Panthers for these reasons:

1. We're fighting for our lives, and this is just another game on the way to the playoffs for them. Advantage Dallas.

2. Short week and Thanksgiving schedule always favors Dallas at home. More time to prep, more familiarity with the routine.

3. Panthers are eating the cheese. They're a very good team-- but have not faced much in terms of adversity this year. They're due for a letdown after the beating they just laid on Wash.

4. Intangibles-- I love what Romo is doing in terms of leadership right now. He has the respect and admiration of his team, and they went out and elevated their collective game yesterday. This game is huge for us-- and I think Romo will be ready for the challenge and this team will be lean, hungry, and looking for more wins.

Dallas 27
Carolina 20

I don't know about that, they looked like they were dead in Seattle, and they came back and won that game. They also faced some adversity against Indy and they found a way to win. I'm shocked at how they've played this season, especially without their #1 WR Benjamin. The Cowboys are going to have to play a lot better than they played yesterday if they expect to win.

I think I agree with Hawkeye. Something tells me the team is thinking they are back and we are going to run Run RUN with McFadden and (I sincerely hope) Turbin.

That Turbin looks like the real deal.

Hope so, but this Carolina defense is the most physical team that we will face all season. It can be done, but they're going to have to play their best ball to do it.

Speed of their receivers concerns me a little. Carr and Jones were both beat yesterday, one for a td and Carr was just fortunate the ball was underthrown. Not sure if there was supposed to be safety help from Wilcox over top but carolina has some guys that can fly so we will need to correct that.

Well, this team shocked the planet by beating Seattle when Seattle was at the zenith of their supremacy.

Let's hope something equivalent happens.

Strum said this in his article on Romo and I think it has to be the game plan from minute one of the game on Thursday: "[take advantage of the] situation by punching the best team in the NFC right in the face on Thursday". Would be awesome to come out and take a 21-0 lead on Sunday and never look back.

This game. GB, and one of the Commanders games.

None of them will be easy. Buff and NY are both tough little teams with talent.

But those other 3 games.....Carolina, GB, and Wash...... aye ya ya..

The Cowboys were clicking on all cylinders when they beat Seattle last year. I'm not saying that the Cowboys can't beat Carolina but I think referencing what happened in Seattle last year or when the Cowboys beat NO 6 years ago is a mistake. It can be done though.

Wasn't jones beat for 2 touchdowns?

One game at a time.........

I understand the optimism, but we're in a very, very deep hole with absolutely no room for error. And we still have to play Carolina, Green Bay, Buffalo (good defense) and Washington twice (never an easy series to sweep).

I just don't see us running the table. Maybe I'll start getting excited if we keep winning and we reach 6-7. Until then, the broom stays in the closet. ;)

Yup, beating the Panthers means we'll get our swagger back at being 4-7! A 4-7 team with swagger. SNL can't write a better comedy sketch than that.

I ain't skeered.

Giants are still the biggest concern. I wouldn't even consider Washington a concern since they're only one game ahead of us and we still play them twice. I would say Philly is currently a very small concern. They're only one game up with six games to go, are playing their backup QB, and still have to face New England. NY, on the other hand, is still a very big concern. They're two games up with six to go and I think they're better than the Eagles and Commanders who they still play once each. It'll be very tough to catch NY even if we do win out.
