Well, since Romo is day to day. One would assume come Saturday that even if he starts and his thumb has improved, I can't see a game that has the usual number of passing attempts. Therefore, it would be nice to see something different from Garrett this time and have Barber be the main back and keep him in there for most of the game.

I understand putting Jones in there keeps a fresh rotation and set of legs, but I feel Barber can wear down the defense better over a period of time. I would like to see us be patient with the running game and would be curious to see how Carolina's run defense holds up towards the middle of the 3rd quarter to the end of the game.

It would also be nice to try some different passing plays for some short yardage that perhaps we haven't tried yet. We need our receivers to step it up as much as possible for Yards After Carry and take the burden off of Romo having to throw it deeper than he needs to.

I agree. It would have been nice to have seen them be patient running it Sunday since our QB had a bumb thumb. Makes no sense... Sorry, I digressed for a second.

I'd bet if you took out out all the specialty situations i.e. 2 min offense and 4thQ clock killing drives, we have a run/pass ration of about 2/3.

For all the obvious reasons we need to approach this game differently.

I'd like to see an almost unheard of ration of run to pass of 2/1.

i want to see groung Garrett.

i really don't think our running game is that good. maybe average. all the yards seem to come after the game is over. we are a passing team, it has given us 12 wins.

Bring on more balance. I think the key weapons with Dallas is in the passing game but I would like to see a bit more balance in the attack. Main thing is to go out this weekend and play a great game and walk away with the win.

If you look at it our 3 best weapons are all in the passing game. Barber is, at best, the #4 player on the offense.

Unless we get a real stud back we are going to be a pass first team for the forseeable future.
