The only possible civil complaint the bodyguard would have is sexual harassment, so why all the discussion about her picking her nose and farting and skipping baths?

The answer is the guy is trying to get attention and make money off his story.

I wonder how many of us would look that attractive to others if they saw everything we did in the privacy of our own home?

As for the sexual harassment part, if the guy was so terribly scarred by Britney being naked in front of him or wanting to have sex with him that he feels he needs to be compensated to the tune of $10 million, he was too much of a wimp to be a bodyguard to begin with.

I'm sure he has a lawyer - I can't imagine a bodyguard filing the papers for a lawsuit on his own. There are always lawyers who are willing to jump into the fray for a large chunk of the settlement.
