You have Tony Pollard. Give me Achane in the 3rd and Deuce Vaughn in the 6th, and Luepke in the 7th and I will be very happy.

TP with Luepke as the blocking back. Achane and Vaughn might get injured due to size, but if they don't, they have special qualities (they aren't every down backs, but are weapons).
Dallas needs weapons in the return game, in the screen game, at slot, on sweeps.

String together enough weapons and you have a chance to score on every play, and can adjust to the defenses weakness.
Why would you take both Achane and Deuce? Same type of small back. Makes little sense.

Lacks vision and lacks shake, so I'm not a fan of this infatuation with so many other RBs available. Big Back? Tank is 6'0 210...Tony Pollard is 6'0 212, make it stop.

Same size as Pollard without the speed, elusiveness or hands.

It appears to me that the FO is looking for "all around" type dirty yard types. They are looking for compliments to Pollard. I think that is the wrong approach. Just get the best back out there when you draft. Dont worry about category. Although I wouldnt go out and get a really small guy.
Terrible approach to want a RB that gives you 10 yards on a perfectly blocked play because he's not fast or elusive and simply running into to ppl is his skill whether in open field or through the hole.

This offense needs Playmakers and that hasn't changed let the "Big RB/Dirty yard RB" be RB3 or FB. Draft a freaking gamebreaker: Achane, Abanikanda, Gibbs, Spears.

Because both are play makers. Both could injure more easily...i.e. Depth. Plays with both of them in there would be fun. Also who is a better player in the 6th?

I like Tank but I worry that the Jones are getting too specific here with their TB wants/needs. They keep talking about "big back".

If we get to the middle rounds and we are TB hunting, I hope they take the best TB and not pigeon hole themselves into taking a "big back" because they think they need to replace Elliott to pair with Pollard. In other words, if the scouts say Spears is a better TB than Bigsby but they take Bigsby because he's a "big back", that would be silly IMO.
Whats your standard of a big back, because if you want one of the "Big" backs your going after 220lb RBs than your looking at Robinson, Charbonnet, Milller, Johnson.
220lb RB prospects.
Tier 1 - Robinson
Tier 2 Charbonnet
Tier 3 Miller, Johnson

Corum is climbing up RB rankings, some are ranking him in front of Gibbs even now.
Corum is getting a lot of comparisons to a young MJD.

Then you have to include Corum and Tucker on your list, bottom line is quality RBs can fall in your lap in this draft.

Absolutely, lol too many to keep up with at times. I like Tucker also, but Corum is staying in college, no?

Yeah, I dont get the love for Bigsby..............he is practically the same size as Pollard, but doesnt have the elite speed Pollard has.

A perfectly blocked play for Bigsby can get you 10-15 yards.................that same perfectly blocked play Pollard takes it to the house.

So how is this a great pairing, am I missing something here:huh:

Not a fan of Tank. I hope that isn’t the direction they go with so many good backs available.

Spears, Abanikanda, Gibbs… those guys could add a lot splitting carries with Pollard. Manage to get one of those 3 and your backfield will be much improved this year. Spears and Gibbs especially are really good.

If you want a power back, get one as RB3. They’re easy to find.
