Very interested in Carl Davis

Me too. On the Broaddus/Brugler/Helman show, Brugler felt he's going to end up solidly into the early second / late first range.

Carl Davis at 1t in RD1 and Preston Smith at LDE in RD2. I could get with that.

I like that. Davis could be a Frederick type pick for us

I like the way this draft is shaping up. Lots of DL in the early rds

I'm sure Mr. Hitchens can provide some input on Davis. We'll see if the Cowboys continue there stance on not drafting 1T in the 1st round.

I hope they change their mind or we will be stuck Hayden again.

It depends on if the player is a 1tech only or if he is good at both. Suh would play 1tech on base downs here but is also a top pass rusher in passing situations when both DTs play more as 3techs. Obviously they would draft a Suh type player in the 1st.

In regards to Hayden, I expect Josh Brent to be the starting 1tech with Bishop as his backup.

Prewitt did well today in single coverage. Wasn't afraid to bash with the big tight ends. Dropped a potential INT that hit him right in his belt, although it did go right behind WR on a rope and they aren't tackling. He seemed surprised that the ball was there, but once again, they are kind of going through the motions in the defensive backfield.

Preston Smith looked very powerful and made Austin Shepherd look like he was on ice skates. I know people on here like Preston, and its hard not to watching him. 34 inch arms too.

Kind of mad that Lynden Trail hasn't gotten really any chances to go up against O Line. He had one chance but looked tentative. They had him at LB on 9 on 7 and even put him at Tight end at one on one where he caught a contested ball. He is obviously an athlete and it may be up to the team that drafts him to decide where he plays.

Also, freaking Tom Bradys news conference is taking away from the North practice. lame

Jerry would never take a 1T in one just like he would never take OL in one.

i just cant believe we see Hayden so often on obvious passing downs, this is one thing i believe Marinelli is absolutely wrong.you cannot the worst DT in the league playing on crucial passing downs in the playoffs.they should just cut him because i beleive Marinelli wants him around for some reason. which i cannot fathom.

I got ripped for having Carl Davis in 2 in a mock. Now people are talking about taking him in one.

Hayden is a free agent, they don't need to cut him, just don't re-sign him.

It is weird how many snaps he played.

You can have him.......I found it funny how he kind of shied away from the big school kids. He kept lining up against Ali Marpar...from Hobart....a divison 3 school. and still got worked.....

And Nate Orchard is nothing like Greg Ellis. 2 completely different animals.

Also...in this clip....you can see Danny Shelton by the 3rd rep was already running out of steam. After this....they went to 11 on 11 and he was worthless. I hope somebody takes this guy top 10. I'll laugh out loud when he can't finish a half after playing more than 3 snaps in a row.

Granted he flashes......but he is no where near in Haloti Ngata's class

Kikaha looked better than Orchard. His get off was a good or better and much better hand fighter. And Shelton may not be Ngata (who is) but is a beast at 1 tech. Keeping him fresh would not be a problem on a DL that rotates as much as Dallas. Top 20-25 pick is more reasonable than top 10.

Thats funny cause DLAW is pretty decent in run stop

Agree. What's more, is he's just scratching the surface of his potential. An NFL offseason will do him wonders- great demeanor. Started to get his burst back in playoffs most definitely.

Sleeper plus-performer for next season, no question about it.

Orchard didn't look great in that clip. but has looked pretty good since.Definitely quick off the ball and showed more strength than expected. I definitely don't agree with Kikaha looking better than Orchard this week. Announcers said he was one of the top 3 performers this week (orchard)

I bet he was up to around 260 at the end of the season. I imagine he can put more on his frame now that he can work out his lower body too

Who was the offensive lineman @1:10 in the video? That guys looks really athletic. Almost a little bit rounder version of Tyron.
