+1 ......yep some automatically assumed Beebe was the day-one starter. He never played center except for a few plays. Hoffman on the other hand has extensive college experience and has been working his butt. He sees this as his window. I would love to see him not only start, but play well enough to seal the position and let Beebe focus on replacing Martin next season.
If Hoffman can be the guy at center. That of course bodes well for the cowboys.

As you stated, we are going to need a new RG probably next season, maybe in two seasons MAX when Martin hangs them up. So Beebe is part of the OL’s future regardless. Whether it’s at C or G.

It's all good. We are in the same side in the end.

I need to start using some of my resources to begin viewing TC available footage again because I have apparently been really slacking since I cannot remember any specific OL footage being casually available.

Huh? They would have resigned Biadasz if they didn't feel they could upgrade from him. The Cowboys now have at least 2 centers on the roster who will be better.
They never would have signed Biadasz for 10 mil/yr. Either way, they used to say Biadasz was a fighter and had that dog in him. Similar to what they are saying about Hoffman. My point being, forget the words, let's watch him play and judge that.

Not worrying as long as he produces. Depth is really strengthening.

Oh, this whole view was managed well. Not in doubt.

Proud of the young man. Good on him. Good on the coaches and scouts. He's done nothing but get better. He just might be a stud at center. Then maybe next year if Martin eetires, Beebe can be our starter at rg. Bass can be the swing guard. Can play left or right. Many seem down on Hoffman because they want CB to be the man at center. I think we have a great problem to have. This team can be like the 2014 team. The run game can carry us while the defense figures it out as we go. It's all about ball control. The strength of the team will be the oline. We can lean on that and win.

He is a fighter and has some dawg in him. But his skill level is....questionable. Especially in the passing game.

Hofman seems to have the starting center job locked down. This is excellent for the Cowboys because it gives us deepth at the G/C position. Beebe should be the heir apparent when RG Martin retires.
At this moment if CB is having trouble with the shotgun snaps then Hoffman will start. But CB has more physical ability than Hoffman does so if he gets the snaps down to automatic then I see him supplanting Hoffman. but maybe not this season. If Hofman can be an above average starter then we have not lost anything from last season which is good

The only negative with Hoffman playing well is it may keep our third round pick on the bench at least for a while.
CB will be C1.

It’s good for Hoffman. He’s getting reps.

Broaddus says that he did play center back in high school. But he hasn't taken to it as quickly as he had assumed when he was drafted.

From what I understand he did not play center much and how many years ago was that?
The shotgun snaps in the NFL have to be exact and precise and automatic. That is a high bar. I never really thought he would be able to start at center; only would happen if Hoffman was injured or stank it up. I think Hoffman can be an above average starter in the NFL; and maybe a little better. I think he can be better than biadasz.

Oh I know played it in high school. I read his profile but it's a big leap from high school to the NFL, especially at a high level.
