Wow just noticed Osweiler is foregoing is sr year to enter the draft. i always enjoyed watching him play and i think he has massive room to grow. Look i know this team has a lot of holes and i have been against drafting a qb before the 6th but kitna will be gone and while i belive in mcgee as a backup he will never be the future starter of this team. If Oswelier Is there in the 4th or later i think we should jump all over it. IMO he is better then Tannenhill, Foles, or any other qb in the draft besides luck and rg3 and someone we should look at with out a doubt. Thoughts?

If Brock gets outta the 1st round I'll be shocked. He's going to rise similar to Flacco which would be the prospect I compare him to. Raw but alot of tools to work with and suprising athletcism in the pocket for a guy his height.

I really like Osweiler. He may be one of the tallest QBs in history, but he was also recruited by Gonzaga out of high school as a basketball player. He's got good footwork, a rocket for an arm, and his ball placement is spot on. For such a big guy he's also got a quick release. His only downside is that he has a tendency to get locked on to receivers and DBs can read his eyes.

No thanks. I will take Darron Thomas and groom him behind Romo.

I was thinking about this too

No to the above anywhere near the top of the draft.

In the right spot, he'd be a good pick. He's going to get overdrafted, though. He's got all the physical tools, but not the body of work to support a high pick.

He might stay in his home state.. Wouldn't past the Cardinals drafting him with the 13th pick if his stock rises during the workout period.

and before any of you thinks about pouding down my head with " that's a ridiculous statement ", I'll give you 2 words:

Christian Ponder

would love for the cardinals to draft him (even though they wont becasue of kolb) becasue they are our competition for decastro

I think DeCastro will go to the Cards. They have to get tough up front if they want to compete with SF.

If we want DeCastro it will require a trade up.

Completely agree. Its the type of QB Whisenhunt has been looking for since Rothlisberger. Whether it was trying Derrick Anderson or John Skelton. Whisenhunt has always liked a big armed quarterback.

Wasn't he in Pitt when Stinkyburger was first drafted ?

True, but I think LT is a bigger need. They signed Darryl Colledge to a big contract last year, and Rex Hadnot to a pretty big contract the year before. But they are very weak at T. If a guy like Riley Reiff or Jonathon Martin are available, I could see them going that direction instead.

That's not his home state. ;)

Believe heard McShay on SVP show tell him Brock O had a shot for 1st round today.

As much as I would love osweiler to be a cowboy after doing more research I'm pretty certain he will long by the 4th round which is the earliest I think we should even think about drafting a qb given then pressing needs on d and ol. Bj coleman is someone I like to but I have feeling he will get over drafted as well. Since kitna will be most likely gone next season that gives us 2 options IMO bring in a veteran qb to see where McGee is really tested in terms of progression someone like Brady Quinn. Or taking a late round flyer on either gj kinne or Aaron Corp I think these two are better prospects than the likes of case keenam and Chandler harnish.
