Brockers or Poe

Brockers did not prove to be the physical freak that many had predicted . Poe proved that he is a freak .
Brockers played in the middle of a talented defensive team . Poe was the only force on his defensive team .
Neither player's production matched their potential .
Take your pick .

19 reps on the bench for Brockers pretty sad when plenty of skill players did alot better than that. Not that it is huge deal, but I think it may be a while before he makes a huge impact.

Given that I'm not a fan of Brockers AT ALL I would say Poe.

Poe couldn't dominate vs sad competition for Memphis and he takes plays off.

Brockers never impressed me in 11 games I have watched him in. At his size he had a terrible combine. he was a one year flash for a good team.

I would pass on both

It would have to be Poe, and its not even close.

The questions of Poe's motor are well overstated. Memphis was 2-10 last year, they were absolutely awful, and its easy to see that they didn't have alot of talent on that team.

He has the athletic talent to be a top 5 player in this league at his position, so the saying goes, and in the right environment maybe even the top one.

There just aren't many guys on this planet that have the athletic talent he does at his size, and he made picking in the top 15 alot harder today.

I was never high on Brockers but completely expected him to blow up the Combine. He didn't, so even less high on him now.

Watching Poe, I felt he was just pushing around Conference USA scrubs but he really impressed this Combine with his strength, speed, and overall athleticism. He's a bigger, faster BJ Raji.

So, umm, yeah, Poe.

The combine was irrelevant in my opinion. Even just watching the kid, nothing leaped off the screen about him. His lack of athleticism just cemented the fact that he is not the "Freak Athlete" a lot of people labeled him. People just fell in love with his size, to the point that his showing up 20 lbs over his listed weight was viewed as a plus... right up until he started actually moving around.
