All the talk here is about Antoine Bethea and OJ Atogwe, for good reason, but what about Brodney Pool? I understand he has a bad injury history with multiple concussions, but unlike Bethea he has no tender. With the right contract wouldn't you take a chance? He's very productive I think he had like 5 INT in 10 games last year. I say why not.

thoughts?

You don't take a chance on any player with multiple concussions history (ie. Brian Westbrook). The team that does may be risking more than just player's health, but possible future lawsuits... Imo.

Rams | Pool to visit Monday
Sun, 07 Mar 2010 08:49:59 -0800

Jim Thomas, of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports the St. Louis Rams will host free-agent FS Brodney Pool (Browns) Monday, March 8. With S Oshiomogho Atogwe given the lowest tender by the Rams, they may be exploring their options at the safety position.
