Brodney Pool visiting

It almost seems like Dallas and Washington are in full ** mode to the league office and 30 other teams. I'd like some attention to the trenches, though.

I'm sure that's a little extra motivation to get deals done.

At some point it seems like a guy isn't going to ever reach his potential, but I always thought Pool had a very high ceiling.

By the looks of it we are going to go defensive heavy in FA and OL or DL heavy in the draft.

I guess Spencer will be the starter :(

I'm not certain. was trying to confirm.
Using my nook so can't be bothered to link bot one article as of 2010 said he had suffered at least four concussions in five seasons.

He does a good job of playing the ball in the air. He and Sensenbaugh would be a really tall set of safeties.

That's what I thought as well.

Well, look at it this way. At least we don't have to reach for a Safety in Round 1.

Brodney would definitely be a better S as opposed to Elam, I hope we can work something out, however, we all know we need to draft a viable prospect eventually.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Brodney did not start last year for the Jets. From what I remember, Jets fans were not happy with the performance from their safeties last year either.

I just wonder if this is for safety depth, as opposed to a starting gig.

His tackle numbers are not terribly impressive. Why are we interested in signing him?

I guess we weren't kidding when we said we're gonna spend that free agent money.

May as well spend it now before the league can backroom some more of it away.

I feel like some of these signings are insurance policies just in case the younger players don't pan out

Was it Nors who was all over Brodney Pool back in the day?

Wow! Nors, I have not thought of him in quite awhile. Where did he ever go to???

On this team probably, though I think someone like Church could challenge for that SS spot.

This team needs a true FS...bad.

Church? Really?

The time to win is now. We already wasted one year trying out alan ball at safety. Cmon what a terrible suggestion that was.

Four Concussions in Five Years?!?

Ok someone has to get this guy on a bus out of town before Jerry can get the papers ready for him to sign.

I'm not in Dallas right now so can one of our CZ members sneak into Valley Ranch and hit him over the head and drag his *** out of town before we get stuck with this guy?

Much Obliged!

:laugh2: Why is it a terrible suggestion to think that he could compete for a spot. Jeesh, harsh.
