He didn't want to come here. Denver is clearly the better chance to see the field

Don't worry we have Sanchez. Now we can see which GM was the smartest. lol
I think the Boys wanted Davis but he said no thank you once he got the lay of the land in Dallas. And there's no need to wait to make the declaration on the better GM!

Clearly he did want to come here...Nor Davis wouldn't have come in for a workout. Once again Jerry got cheap, gun shy...and cute.

Or he didn't want to come to a team to be the 3rd string QB, and likely cut after Romo comes back. But go ahead, continue with your rant against the front office.

We apparently got cheap by signing the much more expensive player

Held out for a better situation. He could easily be starting at some point in Denver. He could simply drive the bus, get a few wins, and improve his stock.

Dallas has a clear, albeit hurt, number one and a guy who we think we can rely on and develop. We also don't have the sort of D that can win with a true bus driver.

Clear to see how it is a better situation for Davis in Denver. Of course, nothing is going to get you off your agenda

He's likely cheap to us. Offsets in the Denver deal mean they owe him 4.5 mill minus whatever we pay. Very likely we got him for the minimum

Well. Mark is just as viable as Austin and probably more cost effective. OK, Sanchize is the buttfumbler and signing him hurts...but he is not a bum and is decent security for the the Club. I am still holding my nose..GD it.

2 mil base with built in incentives depending on how it goes.
If he never goes on the field 2 mil.
