That team is now 5-0. I don't see them firing DC's and shredding their defense. I'm not saying I'm happy about the cowboys defense. I don't care for the system unless we get a ton of pressure. We can't with ware hurt. Hatcher and Selvie are not enough.

That said, season isn't over. We can build off this loss.

I think we seriously need to start thinking about bringing some heavy blitzes and locking up with press coverage across the board. At least do it multiple times a game to change it up.

THis defense is designed to limit the big play. Well, that is not happening, so why not try and force the issue to create some negative offensive plays. So what if they give up big plays because of blitzing like crazy.

We aren't the Broncos, but if they keep giving up 48 points, Peyton will continue to be the brother with the fewer number of rings.

The AFC is terrible. if they don't make the Super bowl, I'll be shocked.

My point is, yeah the defense isn't great but I really do think it's part scheme and part personal. If we had a dominating d-line that could have hurried peyton a little, the game would have went differntly. The way we defend, it's a must even more so then Rob Ryan defense.

other thing is, Broncos haven't been stopped all year, I can't be upset that we couldn't hold them under 30 when that hasn't happened all year.

Both teams get to play common opponents this year. After the games are played, we can then see how each teams are.

There is a big difference between 30 and 51 points. Heck, if we hold them to 45 points, we win the game. Couldn't do it.

Honestly, I took small victories of getting the FGs. Peyton's release is so quick and crossing routes are so hard to defend that it was destined to be bad.

Yes, it was going to be bad, but 51 points when your offense puts up 48 is beyond terrible. They weren't even quick strike scores. They were methodical move the ball down the field drives.

Is this the same argument as "the rest of the NFC lost so we aren't that bad?"

All I need to look at, at this point in the year, is where we stand defensively.

Look it up (make sure you're sitting down).

Never mind the Broncos missing Bailey and Miller on defense. I seemed the Cowboys had to fight for every yard vs Manning playing pitch and catch to wide open receivers.

I'll give you Bailey but it's Miller's own fault why he's not on the field.

Broncos defense will be fine. They have key players coming back. Manning will keep scoring 40+ points a game. Cowboys on the other hand will need Romo to duplicate his career performance to have any chance at winning games. How in the world is the Cowboys defense going to get better? Where are the reinforcements? Do you think they can stop Rodgers, Brees, Stafford or Cutler? Can they stop the read-option or hurry up offenses? I don’t think they can.

OK but what does that have to do with anything? When he gets back, this defense is going to become a lot better in a hurry.

Clearly you aren't "fighting for every yard" when you move up and down the field like we did all night.

Didn't Romo set a record for most yards per attempt or something? That's not fighting for every yard.

The AFC is terrible? Is the NFC any better?

I'm not miffed about losing to Denver, but I am miffed about the fact that they could have unleashed this offense against KC and San Diego instead of that conservative garbage game-plan they used. This team could/should have a winning record if they would stop playing not to lose on the road.
