No game sim folks, it's just thoughts from my troubled brainpan.

This is the kind of stuff we'll get in the real preseason. The end-of-roster guys will probably decide the all-important preseason games....

And at this point, we don't know who the hell they are, who they could be, just a fantasy.

Just wanted to post a note at how absurd things will be a few weeks from now. The tired, the poor, huddled masses will be on the team. We won't know a thing about them.

In years past, we had months to cogitate about all the spares, UDFAs: who they are, their bios, their chances on the team: who will they be? ... Nowadays too, some sort of union extra-guys called "reserve future" are in the picture too. At this point accd. to Cowboys site these unknowns on the team include: WR Troy Bergeron, DE Alex Daniels, LB Isaiah Greenhouse, WR Jeff Moturi, LB Kelvin Smith, CB Ross Weaver. Wow, I'm confused. These guys might have constituted the practice squad or the last week of the season, but I think some of them may be more spare than that.

The UDFAs will add a layer of confusion to everything.

IMO it will be fun just figuring out who is on the team ... and a half-dozen or more of these masked men will make the 53.

Speaking of the CBA, which I wasn't ...

Is it OK to run full-contact pads drills the morning of the game? ... WWJD? (What would Jimmy do?) .. Hell yeah, he would go in full pads since the rest of the week was just ***** assing around. .... And, full pads the morning of the game might make the difference ..

The game, to Jimmy, would be just like an afternoon practice ...
