injuries can derail anyone. Bad weather can mess with any passing first team.

Denver in January is NOT a great place to pass.

So not handing them the Lombardi already. BUT I do agree they are certainly the team to beat for the whole NFL as it is now.

However if Denver makes it to the SB then its fair weather and good conditions for a pass first offense.

Just depends on what team is there waiting for them

The manning antidote is to jam receivers at the line, slow their route or change their route, then press manning up the middle. The quick pass is gone. The wheels start to wobble.

I'd say they have to be pretty heavy favorites in the AFC right now.

Although if Brady can continue to play out of this world as he has been for the last month (Remember when some were suggesting he was clearly done? LOL) then the Patriots could challenge them.

Only takes one team, one time in the playoffs/SB.

Want me to list those times it's happened?

Brady still owns him. 10-5 vs Manning teams? Although I think Pats get spanked this game.

I think the Patriots could struggle to contain Denver. There are a lot of weapons for Manning to use and they're going to have a lot of mismatches against the Patriots.

But one thing you can never do is count a Bill coached team out against Manning. He seems to just give Peyton fits.

Potential for ugly weather in Foxboro Sunday. Nothing like a blizzard, but chilly and windy. Manning is not a guy who thrives in cold, windy weather. His strengths are accuracy and precision, less so pure arm strength, so the wind hurts him. I am looking forward to it.

most of those Pat wins came when they had the great D. You look at the last 5-7 years and the numbers are very different.

This year P Manning has the most complete team he has ever had - the D is good if not great and certainly better then just about all he has ever had before.

Meanwhile the Pats have holes on D and a still suspect O line.

Ok. I am not going to research the last 5-7 years. I will believe you.

It doesn't change that "complete team" excuse. He had more than enough team to win last year. He put up 8 points. He lost Super Bowl last year because of his house of cards folding impersonation.

This is a team that has played 5 of 7 at home. In the NFL, home field advantage is real and is significant. Let's see how they do now with 6 of the next 8 on the road, especially in those always-tough road divisional games.
I hate to say I told you so, but uh.... well...... you know...... :D
