One an ugly run by Philip Rivers for a TD. The other on a fumble return.

I think Denver might be just what the doctor ordered for San Diego.

San Diego looks impressive today. Denver looks like crap. Shanahan has the worst team he has had in years. They had a rough offseason, starting with the untimely death of Darrant Williams, and it has carried over to the regular season.

The biggest thing for me in San Diego is that their defense just doesn't scare anyone at all. They aren't the same squad they were last year, regardless of how bad they beat Denver today.

Denver is a textbook example of why you need to worry about your defensive line before you worry about getting a good secondary, IMO.

Well I think the reason Denver went for secondary was the loss of Williams. If I am not mistaken, they also lost another CB as well prior to the draft.
