How did the Broncos turn it around so quickly? Three years ago, they were coming off a 4-11 season, an aging QB who they traded away two 1sts and two 2nds for, and a new head coach in Sean Payton who they traded another 1st and 2nd to acquire. Not to mention, they were in the same division as a Chiefs team who just won the Super Bowl and who would go on to win another.

With no draft picks to build with and a bunch of dead cap space (after cutting Russell Wilson), they managed to put together a 13-3 team without having an elite QB (Bo Nix is no Drake Maye).

I don’t follow the Broncos, so I don’t know exactly how they did it. Can anyone enlighten me?

Payton won in NO he was just there too long . Like what Tomlin is going through in Pittsburgh . Vance Joseph is a solid DC . And they took a chance on Bo Nix. I remember draft comments that Denver took Nix too high in the draft . That’s been proven wrong .

Kellen Moore piling up wins in New Orleans . Don’t tell them it’s meaningless they are building something with a young QB getting valuable PT . They challenge in that wretched division next season while Denver will be hard to knock off in the playoffs
