"I love going to work everyday, this is a great group of guys. This is the best locker room I've EVER been a part of..."

Paraphrasing...

Did you envision yourself fitting into the lineup so seamlessly?

- It was a great fit team-wise and with Wade and the talent already around

What clicked on the D to be allowing a little over 7 points a game in the last month?

- We've improved every week since week one. We're doing our jobs. Sounds easy, but that's what it is. Great system, great players who have bought in and believe in each other.

What Challenges do Favre and the Vikes present?

- Film study, same type of offense as Philly. Philly runs just to setup the pass. Minny likes to pound the rock with AP though they have gotten away from it lately. Our success is based on making it a one dimensional game, which we need to do this week. Set the tone and get after Favre with the pass rush.

What's the scoop on Favre?

- Experienced guy. Can still do it at a level other guys can't. Comfortable in the offense.

Has the love from the City of Dallas energized you?

- I'd be lying if I said it didn't play a part. But it's a system that works. My teammates have rejuvenated me. We have a great locker room. We have fun when it's time to have fun. We lock in when it's time to go to work. We're a team.

Colin - Everything you read or hear about Dallas these days. It's all about the locker room. Went on to exemplify what the lack of TO means....

This is the same Colin Cowherd who, after we released TO, would go on about how we wouldn't be any better without him. Philly wasn't better post TO. 49ers werent better. Neither would we.

TO was a scapegoat.

In all fairness tho........NOBODY outside the organization knew Austin was gonna be the receiver that he is. Miraculous, IMO.

Did he sign a 1 year deal, and do they bring him back if so?
Actually, he signed a 3 year, $6 million deal.

Cha-ching.

It took Roy E. Williams to get hurt for Austin to start and showcase his excellence, so they had an idea but not like this themselves either.

I think it's great that the guys in this locker room were smart enough to know that they can use his leadership skills and his enthusiasm for the game to help them this season.

In years past I could easily see some former Cowboys seeing this guy come in and rolling their eyes while Brooking tried to talk to them.

And yeah. I am talking about the former WR who hasn't won a damn thing in this league who was trying to lead the young guys by showing them that it's a good thing to divide the locker room and to have 'one on one' meetings with the OC so you can voice your displeasure about YOUR role in the offense.

Keith Brooking is the anti Terrell Owens.
