Barton brings tackle-guard-center flexibility. The Cowboys could reshuffle the offensive line to put the best five blockers on the field, with Barton stepping in as a potential plug-and-play starter at multiple spots.

can somebody please tell me what everybody sees in MCCarthy? he loos extremely pedestrian to me and they rarely asked him to put the ball on his shoulders to win.
You could have said the same about Tom Brady.

Not a comparison just that you can't disqualify him for being a college bus driver.

Imagine if the Vikings stayed put at 11 and still got Drake Maye....nah, I can't either.

Newton yes. I’d take Barton over Wiggins
Wiggins is currently 20th on the consensus big board which is 10 slots higher than Barton.

If it was much closer I’d lean towards need but he’s BPA by a wide margin.

How about Zach Wilson the deer in the headlights going 2nd overall to the Jets? The odds are against all of the qbs. Every single one of them.

Do QB's secretly not mind falling in the draft if they go to a team with a functioning O-Line?

I'd be ok with it but I'd have to really think long and hard about passing on Latu and Newton.
.
I really like Dar Rob, probably more than most, not sure I'd take him over Barton but I'd be thinking about it.

If there is a medical concern with JPJ, this would be my pick ... and it might be anyway with Barton bring able to play pretty much anywhere on the line. I think Hoffman is our worst "starting" lineman right now, but if I'm wrong, I like the idea of Barton being able to play either guard or tackle because it means we wouldn't necessarily have to move Tyler.
