Brown’s Base Offer to Dez < $5mil

If Dez is thinking someone else is going to offer him more, I think he's sorely mistaken.

I'm grown more comfortable every day with him being gone judging by the fact that nobody wants the guy.
 
At this stage in his career he would be better off playing on a team with good WRs, like Cleveland. He'll no longer draw the best DB. He was still fairly decent when he was single covered by a lesser DB.
 
...by not playing, he is falling out of contention. Lots of younger receivers are out there playing, waiting, making it happen. He thinks he has TO freak age skills, I doubt it.

He handled it all wrong.

He got written off by half the league the way he reacted the day he was cut.

He looked like a fool by telling the Ravens to back-off when they came in with a strong offer.

Now he's out there saying I'll only play for a divisional rival, then flirts with the Browns and says he wants to play for New England.

What team would want a player that has no direction? I do feel bad for the guy, we all know he left his heart in Dallas. I wish him the best and hope he can have a strong second stretch in the mold of Randy Moss as a NE Patriot.

He is still on the right side of 30 and even though he is a pain in the ***, he is not a T.O. level distraction.

He'll get another shot. He seems sold on the Patriots. Hopefully he gets it. This fan base should wish him well.

I believe he should've signed with Baltimore. He could've easily had an Anquan Boldin like run with them for 5-6 years and stamped his ticket to Canton....

He said he didn't want a multi year contract like the 21M offer he got from the Ravens, that he wants a one year "prove it" type contract, the Browns offered him just that and he turns it down.......the guy is a flake.....I've never been happier to see a player cut like I was with this moron.......other teams are seeing his true colors now as well.
 
Dez shoulda taken the Raven’s offer, worked his azz off in camp and gotten his mind right. After which, he’d be poised to reboot his career, on a solid team that wanted him.

Maybe the dumbest 29yo in the NFL.

Ehhh, sure. At this point, he's a fit anywhere. If some team pays more than 5mn for the season they're making a mistake. He has wrecked his market value, sadly.

Even with TO's distractions, teams still took a chance and paid him like a top receiver. Maybe Dez talent isnt worth his distraction
