If Richardson is there at 14 expect the Browns to be calling. I'm hearing they are going to try and get offensive weapons and would love to be able to put Blackmon and Richardson on the field together. Also Cincy has two first round picks and also wants Richardson.

Good news for dallas if Richardson falls to 14 to make a deal with either team and watch one over pay and give up a extra 2nd round pick.

Now all you need is for Richardson to fall about 10 spots. Could happen.

It could if you look at the teams from 5-14.

The Browns have a choice to make but they want a WR and RB in the 1st round.
They also really like Michael Floyd who they could also trade up for.
The Browns want to walk out of the 1st round with a top RB and WR.
So they could look at Blackmon at 4 and trade up and get Richardson at 14 if he falls.
Or he could take the safer route and draft Richardson at 4 and trade up to get Floyd which is a much safe chance of happening.

i dont like trading down that far, maybe 17th to 21st but no further than that but if we get cleveland and bengals in trade up war, we could get some nice draft picks,

your ok with trading back to 21 but 22 is to far

Yes, both are great teams for Richardson. I can't imagine that he'll fall to 14 given his talents and teams's needs. You never know w/ RBs though.

The browns say that they will not be parting with any of those early three picks...and may even trade down some from their early pick b/c they like 5 players about the same there. They may be able to drop to 10 or and still get their guy early while landing another 2.

This. Word out of Cleveland is that they might move down, if anything. If Richardson was somehow there at our pick, maybe they move up, but why would they make a deal with us? We're not taking a RB, neither are the Eagles, and I'd be surprised if the Jets did. Why deal with us when you can trade with the Eagles or Jets, or Bengles and still get your guy. This is irrelevant though, because I think the Browns take him at 4. Or move down a couple spots and take him. The Browns have to get a starting running back in the draft, and I don't think they're going to try and get cute. He just seems like a better player than Blackmon.

I'd be pretty suprised if Richardson makes it past St. Louis. Cleveland is gonna likely decide between Blackmon and Richardson, and let's say they choose Blackmon. I think it's a lock that TB takes him, but they could go Claiborne there since Eric Wright isn't that good. So that leaves St. Louis with Richardson and Riley Rieff to choose from. With the amount of picks they have in the next few years, I doubt they waste one reaching for a guy who may be a RT only and likely take Richardson.

I would take Richardson over Blackmon, but the Browns might see the WR position as harder to fill. As for the Jets and Bengals, I have no doubt they would deeply consider Richardson if available, so there is reason for teams below us to try to trade with either us or the Eagles (who might not trade out cause of Cox or Luke).

If Trent falls, we will get calls.

There is more "high" depth (I know, sounds counter-intuitive) at the WR position and not so mush at RB...if I am the Browns and my plan is to get a RB AND a WR in the first round, then I pick Richardson...the WR list for 1st round talent is more than just one player...

Cleveland isn't a team or or two players away from a Superbowl contention. They need a lot of players at a lot of different positions. They need QBs, WRs, RBs, OTs, Pass Rushers. If anything I see them trading back. I don't see them trading up to #14 unless a potential franchise QB like Tannehill falls to that spot.

That's right....excpet maybe the part about the Jets. They are not at all happy with their rungame and would pounce on Richardson if he fell all the way to 16. It's not happening anyway.
