Veteran free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens has yet to find a home this offseason, and you can now count out the Cleveland Browns.

Browns general manager Tom Heckert told The Plain Dealer that while he hasn't ruled out adding a veteran receiver, Owens is "not on our radar."

Owens, 36, has had limited interest in free agency, likely due to declining production, age and past history of being a distraction in the locker room. Owens is also reportedly seeking $5 million per season.

Owens has played with four teams throughout a brilliant 14-year career, and despite being one of the league's older players, has proven impressively durable, missing only one game during the past four seasons.

NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora believes Jacksonville could be a potential landing spot for Owens, while NFL.com analyst Pat Kirwan sees Chicago as a possible fit.

The Browns, though, have a young group of receivers on a roster being rebuilt by Heckert and team president Mike Holmgren, including Josh Cribbs, Mohamed Massaquoi and Brian Robiskie.

Uncle Al is his only hope :laugh2:

Yep.

It'll be a match made in heaven.

I bet the Browns would have been all over him if it weren't for Holmgren.

I guess he wore out his welcome in Buffalo. I didn't hear anything about him.

Stilltheguru is gonna be forced to hate every team in the league.

:lmao:

HA !! The Browns just lost at the shot to be an instant playoff contender.

But, but, but...Jordan Taber's pathetic little Owens Defense Forum will die.

Thank you Vintage.
