If you guys didn't get to watch the game, you can see what we are going up against on Sunday. Obviously, Browns have been the worst team in the league. Their defense is crap, at best. BUT McCown is capable of having big games. We CANNOT allow Pryor and Barnidge to get into a groove. I really hope Carr is ready for Pryor, he's surprisingly on the verge of becoming of the better WRs in the league and the TE just came off a 1,000 yard season last year....most of that had to do with his chemistry with McCown.

This secondary having a bit of a shake up after the Eagles game scares me a little.

They get Coleman back too. Plenty of weapons. But they've had oline injuries, and like you said, that defense has issues.

Exactly.

Kessler isn't as good as McCown is. However Coleman is definitely dynamic.

Only an offensive letdown makes this game close.
24 points all but guarantees a win.

Trap game, schmap game.

Cowboys 31, Browns 14

Mccown isn't starting this game

The nice thing is Kessler is starting. Advantage Cowboys on that decision. I am a little worried about Mo and Church. Coleman, Hawkins, and Pryor are nice trio of receivers and Barnidge can do some damage at Tight End. But Dallas is the better team by far and they should be able to win easily. I said should but it probably won't. The Cowboys always have a knack to make games interesting

If this team is truly one of the best in the league, this game better not be as close as so many pundits are claiming it will be.

I'm expecting Zeke and the Beasts to control this game and suck the life out of an 0-8 team.

FWIW, NFL analyst Dan Leberfeld (sp?) picked the Browns as his upset special of the week. Says the Cowboys have too many injuries (Claiborne, Church) while the Browns have new reinforcements ( Jamie Collins and Corey Coleman).

Of course he's a Jets fan who thinks the Browns are better than their record because his team struggled to beat them.

People are doing anything they can to make this game bigger than what it is. Not to say the Cowboys can't lose this game but Browns are not a threat at all. I'm sorry. I don't fear Kessler or Coleman or Pryor or anyone else on their team. They can't stop the run. I can't fear a team that's starting a rookie qb and cant' stop the run.

Knowing now Kessler is starting, I'm not as worried about this game. My issue isn't with their talent, it's with our secondary having a shift and may need a week to adjust. Losing your best corner and having Wilcox be put into a bigger role changes things.

We struggled with the 9ers. They have better weapons. And they've been competitive in most games. Coleman and Pryor can take the top off. Duke is a shifty guy. We should win and I am pretty confident we will, but....

The Jets pass defense is deplorable. One of the worst in the league.

I think the guys who are filling in like Wilcox and Brown will be fine. I'm scared about what's behind them.

Calling it now. This game will go into overtime. But... we will win thanks to Daniel Bailey. Not because I think the Browns are that good or the Cowboys aren't that good... just simply because EVERYONE is expecting a blowout win. The football Gods don't like when we assume things like that.
