He threw a few great passes on that drive. My God, he had pressure, stepped up in the pocket and delivered a strike, in stride.

***Please, don't start with the Garrett etc bashing. Do that in the appropriate thread.***

Benjamin would actually be perfect here opposite Dez. Takes the top off and a good punt returner. Perfect number 2.

Like Benjamin as well. As you mentioned...he can get deep & is a good returner. Would like to see him with a star on his helmet.

Would have been nice for the Browns to not act like the Browns on that whole FG situation. Fighting with them over draft position and trying to suck worse than the Browns isn't easy.

So lets recap..... The Ravens are without their:
star QB
# 1 WR
# 1 TE
# 1 RB
# 2 RB
and then several supporting players.

And what do the Ravens do? They go on the road and get 2 special teams scores, the defense making a couple of critical stops, played with unbelievable emotion and overall made just enough plays to win. Now I am not bashing anyone....I am complimenting a real good head coach, John Harbaugh. Who by the way was a special teams coach previously. He gets his defense to do just enough and gets the special teams to step up in absence of Flacco. Thats a great job by a very good head coach. That was being a head coach at the NFL level and being a great leader. That was an example of motivating and getting more out of your team than anyone could have expected. That is how you win football games when you are missing your QB, # 1 WR, top 2 RBs, # 1 TE etc.

Yeah, but the Browns coach wimped out and played for a 50 yard FG, and those require a low trajectory.

I agree. But the Ravens made the play. Rather than having their tail between their legs and taking another loss, they MADE PLAYS. They have an emotional and inspirational leader that gets the most out of his players.

I think they lost Suggs early in the season too.
