Pretty sure the OP is being sarcastic. All of the threads about LBs coming out and playing DE in a 4-3 probably prompted this theead. That's my theory

He is arguably the best athlete on the entire team.

But it hasn't fully translated the way it should. Even then, he was a big play guy...relatively speaking.
Even then, he has a real knack for making the big play. I mean, he had FIVE INTS and a TD last year playing linebacker...and not even full time. That's pretty crazy.

Like was just mentioned, he's gonna have teams that are interested.

As for 4-3 DE? I see why the thought would be out there. I have my doubts...maybe if he was just coming into the league.

He can/would start at MLB for most teams...

The fact that in Madden you used to be able to change a LB's position to DE and because of their speed, they could jump from a 70 rating to a 90 rating. Now you cant, so basically you can't even do this in Madden anymore

I hope we can keep Bruce. Homegrown Cowboy. Great athlete. Made numerous game sealing plays this season. He is not Kuechly, but he isn't Nick Roach either.

There is limits to it. Some you can, some you cant. Traditional OLBs no, usually its only between ROLB and LOLB with ILB being an option sometimes. 3-4 OLBs usually you can flip switch between OLB and DE, and Ive even seen the CPU make the edit when a player switches systems.

They made an effort to make it much more realistic

Its off but not that far off in the sense that Bruce Carter is under utilized off the edge imo.

ok, i haven't played Madden in a few years but recently got a PS4 and will likely get it so I can be ready for next year. Would hate if I couldn't switch guys between 3-4 OLB and 4-3 DE or 3-4 DE to 4-3 DT. Doesn't alway work in real life, but it does enough to warrant being an option in game.

But ILBs in a 3-4, should not be able to be 4-3 DEs, cause that rarely happens, if ever. Same for 4-3 OLBs. You have a few guys like Von Miller, but it is not often.

The last few Maddens, OLBs and DEs have been classified as 4-3 or 3-4.
