Yeah, and on the the return where McBriar pushed the receiver out of bounds, Carter was closing, and would have pushed him out if McBriar hadn't. Great speed!

I understand Lee hasn't been around as long as Willis, but I'd put Lee in my top 3 youngest inside backers in the game today. If Bruce Carter develops, it's not that big of a stretch... but it is a ways away. Sean is a different type of linebacker than both Willis and Bowman.

I'd put Lee in the Top 3 as well. And I don't know if the OP was saying it tongue-in-cheek so I won't hold his feet to the fire, but Bruce Carter has so much to show before the conversation should even realistically be brought up.

The possibilities are endless, and that scenario is certainly one of the possibilities. No need to discuss the less attractive alternatives just yet.

when it comes to patrick willis, think of lee having more athleticism, and size.. that what you have in patrick willis. id take willis over lee any day of the week. now with that being said, im very happy the cowboys have lee.

Well, I believe Lee matches up better with Bowman.....and the hope is Carter better matches the athleticism of Willis. Carter has alot to prove before he can even live up to part of that comparison, but pre-injury, this athleticism was on that level.

Anyone know why Bruce Carter didn't play any defensive snaps last game? Were his specific sub packages not used, or has he been taken off defense for the time being?
