On his different role this year compared to last year:
“When Rob (Ryan) was here and we were running the 3-4 scheme, I played Mike so I was in the middle of the field running with the tight ends and just covering mainly in between the hashes. In coach Kiffin’s scheme they have me playing the weak side linebacker, so I’m using more of my ability to get to the ball. I’m running, I’m in space, I’m playing one-on-one with the back. I’m able to pass rush off the edge and I’m just able to use my ability more in this scheme.”
On the most annoying thing about Sean Lee:
“He never has a pen when we go into meetings. I give him a pen, he loses it, comes back the next day, asks for another one.”
