He's been so up and down over his career, but my goodness, he really couldn't have played better when it has mattered this year.

I think you try and re-sign him. I'd hate for this player we've been seeing to be the one he is from now on and we miss out on it.

I would really hope we find a way to keep this guy. Size, speed, athleticism. I know we cannot keep everybody, but he is one of the top 5 athletes on this team. The one thing this team lacks is explosive players...we need an explosive WR....we need an explosive pass rusher, we need an explosive DB. And he is the explosive LB on this team. With all the spread formations and pass catching TEs.....never hurts to have an explosive player at LB.

The dude seems to continuously be putting himself in place for interceptions. Didn't realize until I looked it up just a second ago that he had 5 on the season - almost added one or two more last night.

I might get lashed for this but I'd rather keep Carter than Ro McClain. McClain is not reliable with his health issue.

I'm starting to lean this way myself. Keep both if you can, but if you have to choose? I'm not so sure you don't keep the homegrown guy who is starting to come around.

I hope we resign McClain. Durant and Carter. Bring all back and tell then it's a rotation. He'll McClain lee and Durant haven't been able to stay healthy.

Im fine with that. I have no issues with our LBers. Hitchens, Durant, Carter, McClain, Lee. Thats a good unit.

Right I would tell carter he would be the starter. Then Durant he's #4 and would play alot of sub packages.

Carter reminds me of Thomas Henderson. Amazing athlete with the question of whether or not you will ever see his full potential. I keep the guy no questions asked.

historically I believe he's always played better as the season wears on.

Seems as if the coaches are trying to fit a square peg into a round hole with Carter. His spot is in the middle, but its a crowded spot and he has the freaky athletism to play outside,...............but his instincts shine along with his speed when in the middle only. He showed it 2 yrs ago in the 3-4 when Lee got hurt and he looked great in the middle, he shows it more consistently this season when in the middle also........You cant teach speed, and he's got more of it to combat this era's spread offenses and rb's out into the flats.......
