In the interest of fairness, they are 1-1 with Gradkowski, I think. With Simms (who I'm sure some were slobbering over, considering Texas connections) they were dreadful.

But hey - he dropped 14 on the Bengals. So yeah!

To be fair, they're 1-1 with Gradkowski, and in that loss, they almost beat the Saints -- who are obviously the biggest surprise of the season.

True but I did hear someone on one of the pre-game shows that was saying Gruden is really enamoured with Gradkowski. Said they would not be shocked if they let simms go after the season if he asks too much because they think they have something with Gradkowski.

How true any of that is from pregame show guys I don't really know.

Bruce is a buddy of mine.. when he came out I was saying he was the real deal.. Broke all the records in the WPIAL which when you consider the likes of Montana, Marino, Blanda, etc. is nothing to shake a stick at

I think Gruden also said that Gradkowski also nearly outplayed Simms in preseason.I wanted both Omar Jacobs and Gradkowski in the off season. I figured one of them would be a hit.
