I would rather taken Butts TE instead of Switzer in the 4th. But that's just me.

No way. Butt was damaged goods like I've said since the Orange Bowl. Guy has had two ACL's. That matters to teams which is why he slid to the 5th. I thought he'd potentially be decent value in the 4th but apparently the Cowboys front office disagreed. I love Switzer btw. I've seen him play for the Heels a few times and the kid is dynamic. Much more so than Butt at this point.

We needed a boatload of CB's if Scandrick is going to be kicked back to LA. These young guys are going to kick all these old guys into retirement.

yea it's pretty obvious they went in thinking we'd revamp the secondary. we had good players, at times. but that was about it. i do think brown, jones and heath can be good, so we'll see how things develop.

The amazing thing is we publicly stated what are draft strategy was, and both the Falcons and the Eagles traded picks to jump in front of us and we still came away with our guys.

Once again? We just drafted Swaim a couple years ago who became a solid blocking TE with some pass catch ability. We're one of the better UFA teams. Every year there's guys people complain we didn't get in the 7th and they never amount to anything

too many CBs Mel? We lost 4 DBs and at least one of these CBs will be switching to safety,,,, then you've got the possibility of injury and somebody needing to spend time on the practice squad. Dallas picked a safe number of DBs in my opinion.

Switzer will be much more explosive and have a much more impact for helping us win games then Butt. Switzer will have more TDs then Butt this season and I'm willing to say Rico does too
